Wir freuen uns, die Publikation unserer ersten issue bekannt zu geben: Simon Ganahl veröffentlicht die Vorträge der Tagung "Poetiken der Infrastruktur", die im Dezember 2014 in Wien stattfand, auf dem G+C Blog. In der Einleitung geht der Herausgeber der Frage nach, was die "Unterbauten moderner Kommunikation" mit Foucault zu tun haben. Sein Versuch, Foucault als materialistischen Denker zu lesen, führt ihn zur Analyse des Panoptikons zurück, das mit den digitalen Überwachungsmöglichkeiten eine Renaissance erlebt. Nach Ganahl können Dispositive als Infrastrukturen verstanden werden, die individuelles Erleben als soziale Erfahrungen formen.

Die issues, die auf dem G+C Blog erscheinen, stellen digitale Sammelbände dar. Sie ermöglichen es, die Vorträge wissenschaftlicher Veranstaltungen zügig und multimedial zu publizieren. Im Fall von "Poetiken der Infrastruktur" werden Ausschnitte der Präsentationen über das akademische Videoportal SWITCHtube gestreamt. Die Einleitung ist über die Digitale-Objekt-Identifizierung (DOI), die wir auch in featured verwenden, unabhängig vom Speicherort im Internet beleg- und auffindbar. Alle Beiträge sind gemäß unserer offenen Nutzungslizenz, nämlich Creative Commons (CC-by), als Open-Access-Publikationen frei zugänglich.

Wir werden unsere Online-Plattform auch weiterhin nutzen, um issues über Foucaults Denken zur öffentlichen Diskussion zu stellen. Als nächstes möchten wir die Vorträge der internationalen Konferenz "Was heißt: Foucault historisieren?" publizieren, die wir im März in Zürich organisierten. Im Herbst ist dann ein Workshop zum Thema "Distant Reading und Diskursanalyse" geplant, dessen Beiträge ebenfalls gesammelt auf dem G+C Blog erscheinen sollen.
